Back.

Photo was taken by me at Department Of Caffeine.Cafe Mocha.

Hello my charcharcharlene.blogspot.sg! I'm back.

I just realized that I haven't been blogging for months.
Maybe it's time to start blogging again.

Oh well... a lot of things had changed in my life lately.
It's also because of some reasons that are lying behind to cause me for not blogging for such a long time.
I have continued to study again..oh no ,wait! It's not that I have stopped schooling since then.
I didn't stop doing what I was supposed to.
It's  just that I didn't study in any schools here..but now I'm back on right track to what everyone else is doing right now.

I guess..it's never too late to do anything that you really want to do it  right ?

Life is starting to get busy and busier...
I wish everything will be going well without any hiccups.

A Cappella!

Hey yo! I just feel like blogging today and here I am with a new entry ! :D
BUT this would not be something that happened on me recently....hahaha!

I just want to share to you guys that I actually went to a mini concert or something like a show in last January at Esplanade Singapore! It was a great and yet an awesome show that we shouldn't have missed!

Oh wait! Hmmm... I think I should introduce to you guys what is "A cappella" about first before I start everything!!

If you didn't know, a cappella music is specifically solo or group singing without instrumental sound, or a piece intended to be performed in this way basically! It contrasts with cantata, which is accompanied singing, which also means a purely human voices mimicking music instrument!

Alright ! Now let me share with all of you the awesome Chinese a cappella concert to you guys!

The name “PennYo” is a play on the Mandarin word for friends, “peng you” (朋友). This aptly sums up the group's philosophy of being a tightly knit circle of friends, beginning with the group founders. PennYo members have hailed from the United States, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea and even Hungary. Yet the group has managed to foster an all-inclusive, eclectic culture that is uniquely PennYo!

Moreover, the group also shares a mission to bring the sounds of popular Chinese songs to the United States through a cappella. The process is not so much a direct replication of existing music as it is an evolution into a new form—a form, which the group hopes will appeal to existing fans of Chinese music, as well as those who have never been exposed before!

AND YES! The most important is that THEY ARE ALL ASIAN!

Here are some pictures that I took during the show!

Before the show starts!

The group Pennyo!!

Blurry shot which turned out to be quite nice!

Afterwards we went to the food court nearby the Esplanade for dinner :) Ahhhh what a beautiful country Singapore is!:)

Alright! That all I know about A cappella and I hope you guys enjoy reading my blog!
Will be blogging the Korea day 2 soon so stay tuned! <3

* Korea Trip 2013 * Day 1

HELLO EVERYONE! First of all, I want to wish you guys a very happy and  prosperous 2013!
How have you guys been doing recently? To be honest,  I MISS BLOGGING ! :')
How sad that my previous entry was talking about what I do in last December, and there was no any new entries until now. I think I should blog more even though sometimes I don't really know what to blog about, as my life is kind of mundane....HAHAHA! Anyway , that is not the point in this entry! Let's me tell you how I rock & roll during Chinese New Year!

So how do you guys celebrate your CNY?
As you can see right......I went Korea with my family! BUT not free & easy this time as this was the first time we went to Korea. I guess joining tours would be better for family right ? Since we have about  7 people, so we decided to join Focal travel!

It was a 7 days & 6 nights package + they offered  3days & 2nights free in Hong Kong!  It is really worth it right?  Yeah, so we have about 37 people in this group, altogether about 5 families in the group. I like to join groups sometimes, because through this trip right, we can actually get the chance to know more people! It was really an awesome trip as we went to many main attractions there!

My family and I are actually the kind of "cold weather's lover " as we are living in such a country that is always in hot weather. I think most of the people that who lives in hot weather's country will have the same thoughts as mine! Agree or not?! HAHAHA!

But what I want to say is , before going to Korea right, I actually  have some expectations which are : I wish I can meet ANYONE of the k-pop star on the street , I wish that I can buy a lot a lot of Korea's style clothing * but unfortunately it was winter when I was there......so the winter clothing was totally not suitable for me to wear in the oven country :( * . Yeaah, anyway , I did enjoy travelling in Korea :D

Alright, here are the pictures taken throughout  the journey---

Me and my younger sister on the plane :D

Waiting for transit flight at Hong Kong international airport! Btw I looked so "charm" here...HAHAHA can you imagine how many hours we were on the plane?!Not to say that we also have to take another plane from Hong Kong to Korean!! But  I guess it was worthwhile doing so after all ! Let the pictures below tell you why!

This was about 3-4pm  when we reached Incheon , Korea international airport! Can you see the snow that covered all over the ground?

Here are all  our group members!! And our Korean tour guide , but I didn't manage to take a picture of her face. LOL she looked totally like a typical Korean!!Her name is Coco, and she is a very interesting person.HAHA

Took the train at the airport to the arrival hall to collect our luggage :D

The sneaky younger brother.HAHAHA action in wearing winter clothes :P

and my silly face again in wearing winter jacket :P

THE SNOW!!!! *very excited*

Hmm...What do you see from this picture ................?
Yes, it is an airport AGAIN. We were actually going to ANOTHER local airport to move towards Jeju Island in the same day by taking airplane! Crazy right ? We spent almost more than 24 hours in taking airplane in two days zzzzzzz.

But I have to say it was actually a package that is much cheaper lah, just the only down side was we have to spend quite a lot of time in taking airplane!

Hungry already lah. We then took some donuts at  local airport!

I bought this from the vending machine again! The first drink that I tried in Korea :D
It was a sweet potato mixing with milk.I love it !

* Mummy is so hungry*

The air ticket :P AGAIN ha! We have to wait for our flight at the moment!:(

Look what I found at the airport!!!!! The very famous banana milk that everyone is raving about! It is true that the taste of it is soooooooo nice! However, Coco told us that Korean themselves don't drink this kind of unhealthy drink. LOL Anyway we are just following the trend :P

There were various of drink to let me choose!!!!!! This is like a heaven to me! <3 How good if I can try all these interesting drinks......( oh wait! did I said this before in my Japan blog post ?! ) HAHAHA

Yum yum yum! Even though it is an unhealthy drink, I still enjoyed it a lot :P

Yay! Jeju lsland here we come!

The sunset!

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Our first Korean meal in Korea :D This is so so so so so yummy!

This is a seafood hotpot! I like the soup so much <3 I miss Korean food while typing all these omggg! T.T

The other must have dishes in Korea! I love kimchi!!! The other very interesting thing is that the taste of the  kimchi in every restaurants are different from one another! There are a few hundreds types of kimchi! I just wish I can try them all <3

Here are actually what we  have done on Day 1! To be honest, we didn't really do anything one the first day. It was tiring as we travelled all the way from Singapore to Hong Kong and again from Hong Kong to Korea. We took most of the time in taking plane but we were still enjoyed throughout the journey!

Alright Im gonna end this day one in Korea for today!
Thank you for reading my blog and I promise that I will blog more and more in the future ! :D Bye !

HAHAHA Don't get shock when you see my big head picture okay? Haha!
